Senior Procurement Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support purchasing operations and ensure procurement tasks are completed accurately and efficiently in an onsite role based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Accountabilities

• Review purchase requisitions received from the relevant department and ensure the requirements are clear.
• Obtain quotations and offers from suppliers for the requested items or services.
• Create purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Issue purchase orders to suppliers and obtain confirmation that the order has been accepted.
• Track open orders closely and follow up to ensure deliveries are made on time.
• Regularly assess supplier performance and maintain ongoing monitoring.
• Check that received goods match the purchase order or contract terms.
• Handle cash purchases when needed.
• Take on other procurement-related tasks assigned by the Procurement Head.

Education and Professional Background

A bachelor’s degree is required in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or Business Administration.

Experience

Candidates should have more than 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, specifically within the frozen food and FMCG sectors.

This is a full-time onsite position in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on purchasing efficiency, supplier coordination, order tracking, and procurement compliance.
