Process Management Associate, Provider Operations

Role overview

This is a U.S.-based remote opportunity in healthcare operations, focused on improving provider and network workflows from start to finish. The role is centered on examining current processes, redesigning them for better performance, and helping teams deliver more consistent, efficient, and compliant outcomes. It involves close coordination with technical, clinical, and operational partners and combines analytical problem-solving with practical process execution.

What you will do

• Review provider operations and healthcare workflows in detail by mapping processes, gathering data, and spotting gaps, delays, or inefficiencies.
• Work with stakeholders across functions to define improvement objectives and turn them into practical requirements and solutions.
• Create and maintain clear process documents, SOPs, workflow visuals, and operating guidelines that support consistency and efficiency.
• Use improvement methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM approaches to uncover bottlenecks, cut waste, and strengthen results.
• Run workshops and collaborative working sessions to support process redesign and ongoing improvement efforts.
• Track process performance through metrics and reporting tools, then share insights and recommendations with leadership.
• Partner with technology and product teams on automation and system enhancement efforts.
• Make sure all work aligns with relevant regulations, internal policies, and healthcare operating standards.

What they are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience, preferably in business, healthcare administration, operations, or a related area.
• At least 3 years of experience in process management, process improvement, or operational analytics in healthcare or another regulated environment.
• Practical experience with process mapping and end-to-end workflow analysis.
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN, or similar process improvement frameworks.
• Strong analytical ability with the confidence to interpret data and convert findings into actionable changes.
• Experience with Excel and other reporting or data tools; familiarity with SQL or similar tools is an advantage.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting.
