Junior Procurement Analyst - Indirect Procurement

Role overview

The organization is hiring a Junior Procurement Analyst to help manage indirect procurement for goods and services such as engineering support, consultants, IT, software, telecommunications, and operations & maintenance agreements. This position will contribute to sourcing activities, purchase order processing, supplier coordination, spend reviews, and contract administration, while partnering with teams across Engineering, Operations, IT, and Finance.

Department and reporting

This role sits within Supply Chain / Procurement and reports to the Procurement Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain purchase orders and procurement records in NetSuite and Procore.
• Review spending data to uncover opportunities for cost reduction.
• Support supplier onboarding, monitor supplier performance, and help manage contract renewals.
• Follow procurement governance, policy requirements, and approval workflows.
• Assist with purchasing for engineering, consulting, IT, SaaS, and O&M services.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• One to two years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or finance.
• Strong proficiency in Excel along with solid analytical ability.
• Prior use of NetSuite, Procore, or comparable ERP/procurement software is preferred.
• Well-developed communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.

Preferred background

• Exposure to indirect procurement and service-based contracts.
• Experience in renewable energy, construction, engineering, or industrial settings is an advantage.
• A clear interest in building a career in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
