About the Company
SERVPRO Team Shaw is a rapidly expanding restoration and construction business operating across several major markets. The organization has scaled from a single location in 2020 to 35 locations today, has supported more than 5,000 customers with water and fire emergencies nationwide, and provides end-to-end services that include emergency response, contents moving and storage, textile cleaning, and reconstruction. The business is known for strong growth, and additional opportunities may develop across service lines such as commercial large-loss, fire damage restoration, asbestos and mold removal, and related specialties.
The company is looking for a driven HR leader who enjoys helping people during challenging times and wants to grow with an organization that has experienced significant expansion. This position is based fully onsite in Grapevine, Texas, and reports directly to the CEO.
Role Overview
As Human Resources Manager, you will serve as the primary HR leader for the organization. You will help shape the HR function by building systems, creating policies, establishing future team structure, and supporting a workforce of just over 250 employees with plans to continue growing. This role blends hands-on execution with strategic planning and requires someone who can balance immediate operational needs with long-term organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Work onsite in Grapevine and lead the HR function as the main point of contact for people operations.
- Design and improve HR processes, policies, and the future structure of the HR team.
- Support onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration.
- Oversee recruiting and help expand the HR team as the business grows, including hiring a dedicated recruiter.
- Develop scalable HR infrastructure and streamline workflows to support rapid growth.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning and performance initiatives.
- Assess current tools and systems, then introduce improvements, efficiencies, and new solutions where needed.
- Help mentor and guide additional HR staff as the department expands.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of HR management experience in restoration, construction, or another hands-on operational environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or an HR certification is required.
- English/Spanish bilingual ability is required.
- Experience setting up HR operations in a growing, fast-scaling, or small-to-mid-sized company.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
- Leadership style that is practical, adaptable, and capable of working both strategically and tactically.
Preferred Experience
- IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration, Fire/Smoke Restoration, or similar areas are preferred.
- Background as a supervisor or lead technician is a plus.
- Experience working with insurance adjusters or property managers is helpful.
- Familiarity with SERVPRO documentation tools such as WorkCenter and DryBook is preferred.
- Additional English/Spanish bilingual strength is an advantage.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year.
