Role overview

This position is with a fast-growing, venture-backed AI-native commercial insurance brokerage based in Berlin. The company operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence and insurance and is supported by leading investors. The successful hire will work side by side with the Founder and CEO, contributing to the business’s next stage of expansion.

The role offers broad exposure across the company, with responsibilities spanning growth, commercial operations, finance, strategy, and leadership support. It is designed for someone who wants to work in a high-growth environment and take on meaningful ownership from the outset.

What you will work on

• Help drive demand generation and growth-focused initiatives.
• Review pricing approaches and assess commercial performance.
• Monitor funnel data and wider business metrics.
• Improve sales workflows and commercial operations.
• Support business development efforts and cultivate strategic partnerships.
• Prepare board presentations and investor updates.
• Assist with fundraising activities and related preparation.
• Build financial models, forecasts, and business case analyses.
• Handle financial administration support and cap table-related tasks.
• Contribute to company planning cycles and All Hands preparation.
• Lead cross-functional strategic projects and help resolve important business problems.
• Develop materials and analysis to support major decisions for the leadership team.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market functions.
• Own high-priority initiatives from the very beginning.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate has an excellent academic background from a top university or business school, along with prior exposure to a Founder’s Associate role or a fast-moving venture-backed startup. Internships are counted toward relevant experience, and the role calls for at least one year of cumulative professional experience.

Success in this position requires strong analytical ability, a structured problem-solving mindset, and excellent written and spoken communication. The company is looking for someone fluent in English with good German skills, who demonstrates ownership, attention to detail, humility, ambition, and a strong willingness to learn.

This is an on-site role in Berlin, and candidates should be enthusiastic about working in person with the Founder and CEO in a fast-paced environment.
