Role overview

Maybank is hiring an Executive for Onboarding & Data Integrity Services in Singapore. The role supports account opening and client onboarding activities by checking submitted documentation, coordinating with internal teams, and helping ensure that operational controls and service standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Check account opening files from business teams and digital channels to confirm that the information and documents are complete and accurate.
• Work with internal partners such as Branches, Account Managers, Legal, and Compliance to close gaps and resolve onboarding-related issues.
• Make sure work is completed within the required turnaround times and service level agreements.
• Stay current with all relevant SOPs, internal guidelines, regulatory expectations, and audit-related requirements, and follow them consistently.
• Spot control weaknesses, exceptions, or service concerns early and escalate them promptly.
• Support process refinement, system improvements, and other ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Requirements

• A degree in Banking & Finance, Business, or another relevant discipline.
• Ideally 1 to 3 years of experience in banking operations or client onboarding.
• Working knowledge of operational risk, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal ability for stakeholder coordination.
• A service-focused approach with attention to quality and efficiency.
• Strong planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle deadlines effectively.
• Self-driven team player who can also work independently in a high-pressure environment.
