About the Opportunity

Amity University is seeking a fresher for a research-focused engineering role centered on energy science, with a strong emphasis on hydrogen technologies and green hydrogen innovation. This position is part of a long-term Research and Innovation initiative spanning four years, split between India and Finland.

Research Focus

The selected candidate will work on advanced topics in hydrogen-related research, contributing to the development of practical and forward-looking solutions for clean energy challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out rigorous research work in hydrogen technologies and connected domains.
• Create novel and impactful approaches to address challenges in green hydrogen.
• Work closely with research teams across multiple disciplines in India and Finland.
• Take part in a four-year Research and Innovation program, with two years in India followed by two years in Finland.
• Prepare and immobilize photocatalysts for use in solar hydrogen generation.
• Use analytical instruments and techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR, and UV-Vis for material characterization.
• Analyze research data using Python-based coding, theoretical models, and simulation tools.
• Apply Python, AI, and ML methods for data handling, reaction-kinetics modeling, and catalysis-related machine learning work.
• Keep accurate and complete research logs and documentation.
• Draft research reports, contribute to publications, support presentations, and assist in proposal writing.
