This opportunity is with a major semiconductor company looking to expand its RISC-V CPU verification team in Cork, County Cork, Ireland. The role is focused on validating CPU designs as part of a global engineering organization.

What you will do

• Support CPU verification activities for RISC-V-based designs.
• Work on verification tasks across CPU architecture and micro-architecture layers.
• Use hardware design and coding skills to help ensure design correctness.
• Apply scripting and programming tools to automate and strengthen verification workflows.

What the employer is looking for

• A degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of CPU architecture and micro-architecture concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Verilog, C, C++, and RTL.
• Working knowledge of scripting in Perl or Python.
