Role overview

Mitie is hiring a Cleaner for its Carlow, County Carlow location. The role is scheduled from Monday to Saturday for 1 hour each day, with cleaning completed either after 9:30pm or before 8:30am. This is a 10-hour-per-week position.

Key duties

• Wash and vacuum floors as part of routine cleaning.
• Complete cleaning of frequently touched surfaces.
• Wipe down desks, chairs, and nearby work areas.
• Dust desk surfaces, chair legs, and other surfaces up to hand height.
• Clean kitchen areas and workplace appliances.
• Remove waste from bins and dispose of it safely.
• Clean and disinfect toilets and bathrooms.
• Keep all assigned spaces neat, hygienic, and orderly.
• Work in line with health and safety requirements at all times.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant should have strong attention to detail, be comfortable working on their own as well as with others, and bring a dependable, on-time approach to work. Prior cleaning experience is helpful but not compulsory.

Compensation and benefits

The pay rate is €14.80.
