Role Overview

This role is for an Assistant Manager in Finance, based in Gurgaon/Gurugram, Haryana. The position focuses on core accounting, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and support for budgeting and management reporting within a project-oriented environment.

What You Will Do

Oversee routine accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Compile financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Assist with budgeting, forecasts, and variance review.
Ensure adherence to Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable statutory obligations.
Manage compliance activities related to GST, TDS, PF, and ESI, along with filing requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal teams as needed.
Track cash position, working capital, and project-wise cost controls.
Contribute to MIS reports and management dashboards.
Support internal control processes, audits, and continuous process enhancement.
Keep financial documentation and records organized and up to date.

What We Are Looking For

Professional qualification or postgraduate education in finance, such as CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or M.Com.
Between 5 and 8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
Prior exposure to consulting, infrastructure, EPC, or project-based businesses is preferred.
Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally, along with advanced MS Excel skills.
Solid analytical and problem-solving ability.
Capability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
