Role overview

In this position, you will support the Senior Architect in coordinating a complex architectural project. The role is centered on handling design interfaces, keeping all disciplines aligned, and maintaining clear communication between internal teams, clients, and outside consultants. It calls for strong organization, close attention to detail, and a practical understanding of architectural and engineering workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Architect with the daily coordination of design tasks and deliverables.
• Serve as the link between architecture and other disciplines such as structural, MEP, civil, and systems teams to keep the design fully integrated.
• Monitor design submissions, replies, and approvals to help ensure milestones are met on schedule.
• Check and consolidate inputs from multiple disciplines before client submissions to confirm completeness and alignment.
• Join coordination and technical discussions, record important decisions, and follow through on action items.
• Help prepare client-facing reports, presentations, and design review documents.
• Support comment tracking, including DRS-related follow-up, and maintain architectural document control.
• Make sure all design outputs meet the required standards, codes, and authority regulations.
• Keep reliable records of architectural and multidisciplinary deliverables.
• Identify coordination issues early and work with others to resolve them collaboratively.
• Provide regular updates and communication to the Senior Architect and Project Manager.
• Help improve the quality and efficiency of design submissions.
• Promote effective collaboration across teams to support integrated project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• At least 8 years of experience in architectural coordination or in a multidisciplinary project setting.
• Valid Qatar MMUP Grade A certification in Architecture is mandatory, and MMUP card proof must be included with the CV.
• Background in the design and construction of major projects, including residential complexes, residential and industrial buildings, and interior/exterior design.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar civil codes, including QCS, Civil Defence requirements, and NFPA standards.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with civil works, MEP, ICT, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Hands-on proficiency with BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and other architectural tools.
• Full English fluency is required; Arabic proficiency will be considered an advantage.
