Overview

This role is part of the food and beverage team at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The position is focused on creating a memorable dining experience for guests by delivering attentive service, supporting smooth meal service, and helping ensure every interaction feels welcoming and professional.

The job is non-management and full time, with work based onsite at 1st Street, Dammam, Saudi Arabia 31422. It is not a remote role.

What you will do

The role goes beyond serving food and drinks. You will help shape the guest experience from start to finish by handling service tasks with care and initiative.

• Set up and prepare tables for service.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to support timely and accurate service.
• Interact with guests and serve food and beverages in a friendly, professional manner.
• Clear and clean service areas, tools, and supplies after use.
• Help make every transaction feel like part of the overall dining experience.
• Follow company procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety rules.
• Maintain a polished personal presentation and professional communication.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Working conditions

This position requires being on your feet for long periods and moving frequently throughout the shift. The work may involve standing, sitting, or walking for extended stretches, including movement across sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces. The role also requires handling menus and verifying information visually, along with physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, reaching, and stooping. The expected lifting capacity is up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a high school diploma or an equivalent GED. Less than one year of related work experience is preferred, and no supervisory experience is required. No license or certification is needed for this role.
