Role Overview

SP+, part of Metropolis Technologies, uses computer vision and AI to power parking that does not require tickets, kiosks, apps, or credit cards. The experience is designed so customers can simply drive in and drive out. The company operates one of the largest parking networks in the United States and serves more than 4,000 locations across North America and Europe.

What the Role Involves

• Support a smooth customer experience by handling client questions and concerns promptly, communicating clearly, and helping resolve issues as they come up.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it and document any relevant condition or damage findings.
• Communicate valet pricing to customers in a clear and professional manner.
• Follow traffic regulations and practice safe driving at all times.
• Escalate accidents, safety concerns, policy breaches, and unusual situations to management right away.
• Use knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and highways to help deliver efficient service.
• Arrive for every scheduled shift in a clean uniform, on time, and prepared to work.
• Stay in proper uniform throughout the entire shift.
• Take on other duties assigned by management as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license, a current address, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Experience or comfort driving manual-transmission vehicles is considered an advantage.
• Must be available for non-standard schedules when required, including second shift, third shift, and weekends.
• Must be able to provide documentation showing legal authorization to work in the U.S. if hired.
• Should be able to communicate accurately with customers and teammates and handle complaints professionally.
• Must be able to read and write, perform basic addition and subtraction with U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Should be able to follow written and spoken directions and remain calm when plans change, delays happen, or unexpected situations arise.

Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires standing, walking, and using the hands for cash handling and equipment. It may also involve sitting and climbing or balancing at times. The role requires the ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
