Opportunity Overview
An established facilities and camp-services team is looking for Utility All-Rounders to support a mining village and mine-site operation at Capricorn Copper Mine in Gunpowder, Far North Queensland. This role sits within an essential service environment and involves delivering a range of soft services across the village and site facilities.
Role Details
This is a full-time FIFO position on a 2:2 roster. The role is based in Gunpowder, Far North Queensland.
Key Duties
- Maintain grounds and recreation spaces
- Carry out cleaning across mine-site areas
- Perform accommodation cleaning duties
- Support catering operations
- Assist with retail service tasks
What You Need
Applicants should be well organised, capable of handling multiple tasks, and have a solid understanding of hygiene and food safety practices. Previous experience in remote mining camp environments is expected. You must also hold a full Australian driver’s licence, an RSA certificate, a Food Handlers certificate, and a current satisfactory National Police Check. A professional attitude, a strong commitment to personal and team safety, good customer service ability, and a consistent standard of quality in your work are also important.
