TITLE: RPV Proposal
DESCRIPTION:
Role Overview
This position focuses on proposal and design work for pressure vessels and related equipment within a refinery/process engineering environment.
Key Work Areas
- Carry out design work for vessels, columns, reactors, coke drums, ammonia converters, and similar equipment.
- Perform mechanical design of pressure vessels in line with ASME Section VIII Divisions 1 and 2, along with relevant IRB standards.
- Work with standards and specifications issued by major process licensors and refinery clients.
- Handle detailed engineering for vessels, including preparation of material ordering specifications.
- Apply core mechanical design concepts and theories of failure in practical design work.
- Prepare material purchase specifications aligned with ASME, API, and NACE requirements.
- Create technical clarifications and proposal documents as part of the bidding process.
- Manage multiple enquiries simultaneously during the pre-bid stage.
Experience Requirement
The role calls for at least 1 year of experience in pressure vessel design.
