Verizon is looking for a full-time Retail Sales Associate to support its store team in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. This is a worksite-based position, so you will be working on location rather than remotely.

What you'll do

• Drive retail revenue by combining strong product enthusiasm with excellent customer support.
• Identify customer needs by building rapport and asking thoughtful, relevant questions.
• Recommend products and services in a way that delivers an end-to-end solution for the customer.
• Convert opportunities into sales through clear communication and a customer-first approach.
• Keep improving through ongoing training and by expanding knowledge of store operations, merchandising, and inventory.
• Reach out to existing Verizon customers through outbound calls and text messages to promote products and services when appropriate.
• Represent the brand at community activities and Verizon-sponsored off-site events to help broaden the customer base.

Compensation and earning potential

This position offers base pay of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, along with commission opportunities of up to $18,000 per year if sales goals are met. High performers may earn an additional $14,500 or more in commissions, bringing total annual earnings to roughly $65,000+ to $75,500+.

Pay can vary based on geography, hours worked, and performance. This is a commission-based role with the potential to earn more.

Schedule and work environment

You should be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The schedule is shared four weeks in advance. Extra shifts may be available, especially in the summer months, from November through December, and during peak vacation periods.

The standard weekly schedule for this role is 40 hours.
