Role Summary
The company is seeking a proactive Project Manager / Business PM to drive initiatives tied to liquidity reporting, data validation, and regulatory programs. The role demands strong coordination across Finance, Technology, and Data functions, along with solid ownership of delivery and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Project and Delivery Management
- Own the project from start to finish, including planning, execution, tracking, and closure.
- Handle several parallel workstreams related to liquidity regulatory reporting such as LCR, NSFR, ILAAP, Asset Encumbrance, and AMM.
- Set the scope, timelines, milestones, and outputs in line with business priorities.
- Monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies, and keep delivery on schedule and within scope.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the main coordination point between Finance, Data, Technology, and regional teams across the US, UK, APAC, and other locations.
- Share updates, key risks, and decisions with senior leaders and other stakeholders.
- Build alignment across teams and ensure clear accountability for deliverables.
Data and Regulatory Work
- Lead efforts around data quality, reconciliation, and validation frameworks.
- Coordinate the resolution of data issues that affect regulatory reporting.
- Ensure work follows regulatory requirements and audit expectations.
Governance and Reporting
- Set up and maintain project governance practices.
- Prepare steering committee presentations, MIS, KPI updates, and status reports.
- Maintain RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
Process Improvement and Change Support
- Look for ways to improve processes and introduce automation.
- Support implementation of system enhancements and stronger data controls.
- Assist with change management, including impact analysis and adoption support.
Qualifications and Experience
The role calls for 3 to 5 years of experience in Project Management, PMO, or Business Analyst positions, preferably on finance, regulatory, or data-led initiatives. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are considered an advantage.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong background in project management, PMO, or business transformation work.
- Ability to lead complex projects involving multiple functions and stakeholders.
- Clear understanding of project governance, planning, and reporting methods.
- Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management ability.
- Exposure to banking, financial services, or investment banking environments.
- Working knowledge of liquidity reporting and regulatory frameworks is preferred.
- Understanding of data flows, reconciliation, and data quality concepts.
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of SQL or other data-query tools.
- Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI for dashboards and reporting.
- Comfort working with large datasets and turning analysis into action.
- Ownership mindset, structured problem-solving, and strong analytical thinking.
