Role overview

As part of the Organisational Development Program within the Enterprise Services Group, People Connect supports the Bureau’s workforce by delivering day-to-day human resources guidance and services. The position sits in a setting where responsibilities are varied, engaging, and often complex because the workforce is spread across multiple locations.

What you’ll do

In this payroll role, you will handle work connected to the Bureau’s Enterprise Agreement and employee pay conditions. A key part of the job is processing entitlements through SAP HRMS, responding to employee queries, and preparing relevant letters and supporting documents.

You will also be expected to operate with a strong level of autonomy while still meeting the team’s accuracy and turnaround standards.

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate is a motivated payroll and public sector pay specialist with a solid work ethic, strong attention to detail, and the ability to understand and apply employment conditions correctly. Prior hands-on experience with SAP HRMS is required.
