Role overview

This position calls for an experienced people leader to manage a team of project managers and coordinators who handle title launches. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Launch Operations, you will strengthen operational effectiveness, improve launch quality, and help the team grow in capability and confidence.

Based in India, you will oversee complex launches for a broad mix of content across EMEA and APAC. The role also involves shaping launch approaches for new content categories as Netflix expands in these regions. You will help build robust operating models, work closely with cross-functional partners, and improve both quality and speed through better workflows and engagement practices.

What you will do

  • Guide, coach, and grow a strong team of project managers and coordinators, making sure they have the right support, training, and resources to perform well.
  • Raise launch quality by improving processes, tightening workflows, and setting stronger standards across branded and non-branded titles.
  • Build team capability in planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, and decisions grounded in data.
  • Encourage the team to design AI-first or automation-first ideas and independently build those solutions.
  • Create processes that scale well, help the team anticipate issues, and enable smarter execution.
  • Work with Product Merchandising, Engineering, Content Localisation, Post, Rights Management, and regional stakeholders to align on best practices, resolve operational issues, and support long-term improvements.
  • Review launch outcomes and operational metrics to spot inefficiencies, remove bottlenecks, and improve future delivery.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, teamwork, and innovation so the team can proactively solve problems and create meaningful impact.

What we are looking for

  • At least 12 years of experience in operations, program management, or project management in streaming, technology, entertainment, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams.
  • Working knowledge of content operations, localisation, and creative/post-production workflows, along with an interest in scaling and refining launch processes.
  • A strong problem-solving approach with the ability to handle complexity, spot risks early, and drive practical solutions.
  • Experience improving workflows and quality through technology.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across global teams.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities and maintaining strong execution.
  • A strategic, hands-on mindset with the ambition to define what world-class launch operations should look like.
