Description de l'emploi
About the role
Jobright is an AI-powered job search platform focused on helping people find and move through careers more quickly and with better guidance. This position is for a Machine Learning Engineer who will create, train, and deploy the models behind resume understanding, job matching, and career guidance features.
Why you’ll want to join
- You’ll work on models that influence real career outcomes for job seekers, rather than on benchmark-only problems.
- The role covers the complete machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation, model training, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- You’ll collaborate with engineers and researchers who value model performance, system architecture, and fast delivery.
- The team has strong ML infrastructure in place, allowing you to focus more on modeling work and less on repetitive integration tasks.
Responsibilities
- Create, train, and launch machine learning models that support core product functions such as matching, ranking, and recommendations.
- Develop and support training pipelines, feature stores, and evaluation systems that enable quick experiments and reliable measurement.
- Work with product, engineering, and applied AI teams to turn unclear product needs into concrete modeling tasks and released features.
- Track model behavior in production, investigate performance drops, and use those insights to guide future improvements.
Qualifications
Required
- 1 to 3 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or a closely related technical area.
- Strong ability to communicate modeling decisions, tradeoffs, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good understanding of both classical machine learning and modern deep learning, including how to train, evaluate, and deploy models at scale.
Preferred
- Previous internship or professional experience in ML engineering, applied research, or data science within a tech or AI-oriented environment.
- Experience delivering production ML systems in fast-changing settings where data, priorities, and requirements evolve frequently.
- Practical knowledge of Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, distributed training and inference, MLOps tools, and SQL-based data platforms.
Eligibility
Applicants should be early-career professionals with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in machine learning or a related technical field.
