Junior Data Analyst / Data Scientist

Overview

AWISEE is seeking a driven Junior Data Analyst / Data Scientist to join a remote team and contribute to data collection, validation, reporting, and automation work. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working with data, pays close attention to detail, and is excited to build skills with modern data tools and AI-enabled workflows.

What you'll do

• Gather, clean, verify, and structure data from a variety of sources.
• Analyze datasets and prepare reports using spreadsheets and dashboard tools.
• Assist with website research, lead generation, and influencer data collection assignments.
• Support automation processes and AI-based data workflows.
• Work with APIs and outside data sources such as Google, Meta platforms (Instagram/Facebook), and TikTok.
• Monitor data accuracy and flag gaps, mismatches, or other quality issues.
• Prepare documentation and step-by-step process guides for data operations.
• Partner with internal teams on research, reporting, and automation-related tasks.

Additional skills that would help

• Hands-on exposure to web scraping tools.
• Understanding of APIs and data extraction methods.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or NotebookLM.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, or social media analytics.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree, or current enrollment in a degree program, in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar discipline.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Practical experience with Excel and Google Sheets.
• SQL familiarity is an advantage.
• Strong analytical ability and a sharp eye for detail.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to learn fast and work with limited supervision.

Location

This is a fully remote position based in Serbia.
