Role overview
We are looking for an early-career data professional who is precise, analytical, and comfortable turning raw information into useful business insight. This role supports evidence-based decisions through data gathering, analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tasks.
The ideal person will combine strong problem-solving ability with critical thinking, a sharp eye for detail, and a genuine interest in using data to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.
What you will do
- Gather data from multiple sources and organize it for analysis.
- Check, clean, and validate datasets to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Review information to spot trends, patterns, and performance changes.
- Build reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for internal use.
- Support business performance analysis and help generate actionable insights.
- Assist with forecasting, planning, and related analytical activities.
- Maintain databases and help ensure data quality, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts and work with cross-functional teams on reporting needs.
What we are looking for
You should be comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools. A good understanding of data analysis methods, statistical basics, visualization techniques, and reporting practices will be useful in this role.
We value strong quantitative skills, clear communication, professionalism, adaptability, curiosity, and the ability to stay organized while handling several assignments at once. You should be able to work on your own as well as collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders.
Preferred background
A degree or academic background in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a similar field is preferred. Prior exposure to reporting, research, administration, operations support, data management, or analytical projects is an added advantage.
Experience with reporting tools, database systems, BI platforms, data visualization software, or other analytical applications will also be helpful.
