Role Overview

The Implementation Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of client and partner implementations for Vitesse’s platform. The role turns the solution agreed during the sales process into a structured delivery approach, aligns the right stakeholders at the right time, and keeps all parties coordinated from kickoff through go-live and early-life support.

This position is primarily centered on implementation ownership, with a secondary focus on technical coordination. The person in this role should be comfortable discussing APIs, data movement, environments, and testing concepts, while relying on Technical Integration Leads and engineering teams for advanced design or troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage implementation plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, actions, decisions, and communications from project kickoff through early-life support.
  • Convert business and functional needs into practical delivery plans, RACI matrices, readiness checklists, acceptance criteria, and measurable success indicators.
  • Serve as the main day-to-day delivery point of contact for clients, partners, and internal teams, ensuring ownership and next steps are always transparent.
  • Coordinate setup work across APIs, files, portals, environments, access, test data, and operational workflows by engaging the appropriate specialists.
  • Run project meetings, document decisions, track follow-up actions, and escalate blockers with clear context, impact, options, and accountable owners.
  • Support sandbox validation, user acceptance testing, defect assessment, go-live planning, cutover readiness, and early post-launch support.
  • Keep implementation documentation current, including status reports, action logs, risk registers, dependency trackers, configuration notes, and handover packs.
  • Work closely with Pre-Sales, Technical Integration, Account Implementations, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Support, and Operations to strengthen delivery quality and repeatability.

Requirements

  • Background in client implementations, onboarding, delivery management, project management, or implementation consulting within SaaS, FinTech, payments, or insurance.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple workstreams, owners, timelines, dependencies, and risks without losing control of the details.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability, including confidence leading discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort collaborating with software engineers, product owners, technical integration leads, customer success managers, operational teams, clients, and client partners.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, authentication, environments, webhooks, data files, JSON/XML, errors, retries, and basic data-flow principles.
  • Sound judgment in deciding when to bring in a technical specialist, engineering, product, support, or operations expert.
  • Experience supporting UAT, defect triage, go-live readiness, cutover planning, and early-life support.
  • Proficiency with monday.com or comparable tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or Smartsheet.
  • Exposure to insurance, payments, claims processing, treasury operations, reconciliation, or other regulated financial workflows is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Work Arrangement

The salary for this role is $75,000 to $90,000 per year.

This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week in the office.
