Role overview
Paramount Pictures UK is hiring an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director and the Marketing & Distribution function. This position is broad in scope and moves quickly, requiring someone who can keep things organised, protect confidential information, and help the wider team stay on track with everyday priorities.
Key duties
- Handle highly confidential and sensitive material with a professional and discreet approach.
- Plan meeting preparation, including documents, presentations, test calls and logistical arrangements.
- Support internal and external events such as screenings, premieres and team activities; some evening or weekend availability may be needed.
- Keep inboxes and calendars organised, prioritise urgent issues, and respond smoothly to schedule changes.
- Arrange meetings and conference calls, including regular calls outside normal hours with overseas colleagues.
- Serve as an initial contact point for the Managing Director while remaining approachable and collaborative.
- Book travel, hotels and transport, and ensure itineraries are accurate and delivered on time.
- Prepare monthly expense claims and assist with purchase orders and invoices.
- Provide planning and coordination support on projects across the team.
- Assist with sales data entry and broader team administration tasks.
- Help with acquisitions, script distribution and gathering feedback.
- Coordinate team and VIP screenings, including print delivery and feedback collection.
- Support production-related work when needed, including secure file transfers and on-set attendance.
- Carry out general executive assistant duties and personal support as required.
Skills and experience required
The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting senior leaders in an executive assistant or similar capacity, and should be comfortable working collaboratively within a team. Strong planning and prioritisation skills are essential, along with confidence using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word. You should be able to stay calm when plans change, communicate clearly, work independently or alongside others, and maintain strong accuracy while meeting deadlines. Good judgement under pressure is also important.
Desirable background
Experience in theatrical distribution or the film industry would be an advantage. It is also helpful to have worked with script review and structured feedback, financial platforms such as SAP, and secure file transfer tools like FTP systems. A genuine enthusiasm for film and content is welcome.
