Role Overview
Softview Infotech is hiring a DevOps-focused Technical Lead to strengthen its Build and Continuous Integration function in Chennai. The position calls for a hands-on leader who can take ownership of daily operations across distributed build systems, keep support running for established platforms, and contribute to modernizing the tooling stack.
Experience
The ideal candidate should bring 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines along with deployment automation workflows.
- Run container-based environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Introduce and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Track system health, uptime, performance, and security posture.
- Investigate production incidents and lead root-cause analysis efforts.
- Work closely with development, QA, and security teams to streamline release execution.
- Drive DevOps programs, define stronger practices, and guide team members.
- Improve infrastructure efficiency for scale, reliability, and cost control.
- Support DevSecOps, compliance-related work, and broader operational excellence goals.
Required Skills
The role is centered on DevOps engineering with practical expertise in Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, along with experience in cloud environments.
