A confidential, rapidly growing startup is looking for a Data Analytics Intern who is naturally curious, careful with details, and eager to learn. In this remote role, you will partner closely with the founders and contribute to practical analytics work that supports better business decisions.

What you will do

• Gather, prepare, and examine both structured and unstructured datasets.
• Run exploratory analysis to uncover trends, relationships, and meaningful patterns.
• Create and update dashboards and reports that help teams understand business performance.
• Use SQL to pull, filter, and transform data efficiently.
• Support the definition and tracking of KPIs and core business metrics.
• Work alongside product, marketing, and broader business teams.
• Turn findings into clear, practical recommendations for stakeholders.

What the role calls for

• Enrollment in, or recent completion of, a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Comfort using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic working knowledge of SQL.
• Some exposure to Python, especially Pandas and NumPy, or similar analytical tools.
• Awareness of data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with real datasets or analytics projects is an advantage.
• Understanding of business metrics and performance measurement is preferred.
• Exposure to A/B testing or statistical methods is a plus.
• Adaptability to startup-style, fast-moving work environments is helpful.
