Data Analyst Power BI

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Analyst with deep expertise in MS SQL, data modeling, integration, and statistics. In this role, you will contribute to building scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure, set up monitoring for automated system health checks, support the CI pipeline, and coach team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and support interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Pull data from databases, APIs, and flat files, then transform and load it for analysis.
• Analyze information to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand needs and convert them into technical requirements.
• Improve Power BI report performance and scalability.
• Build and maintain data models, DAX measures, and KPI logic.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting outputs.
• Coordinate with business, IT, and leadership teams.
• Automate reporting workflows to increase efficiency.
• Train end users and provide ongoing support for dashboards and reports.

Required Experience and Expertise

• 7 to 10 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Strong command of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling principles.
• Solid SQL skills, including advanced queries, joins, and aggregations.
• Exposure to ETL workflows and data warehousing fundamentals.
• Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of best practices in data visualization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
