Cleaner - Permanent Full Time

The company is hiring a full-time Cleaner for one of its apartment communities in St. Catharines, Ontario. This is an existing vacancy. The role includes working on weekends, with a usual pattern of four workdays per week and every second weekend.

What You'll Do

• Clean shared areas throughout the building, such as lobbies, elevators, stairwells, windows, and amenity spaces including laundry and social rooms, using sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping as needed.
• Carry out detailed turnover cleaning in empty suites, including appliances, walls, windows, kitchens, bathrooms, and balconies.
• Handle exterior upkeep tasks, which may include underground parking areas, service rooms, foyers, patios, rooftops, and general litter or debris removal around the property, depending on the site.
• Flag any significant concerns related to appearance, safety, or hazards to the Resident Manager.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule that includes weekends.
• Work cooperatively with others and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Take on additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Between 1 and 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong customer service ability.
• Professional and friendly manner.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items such as furniture, garbage bins, and appliances.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills.
• Comfort working effectively in a team setting.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, on-site position with weekend availability required. Applicants should be prepared for a physically active cleaning role in a residential property environment.
