About the RoleDelhivery, a major integrated logistics platform in India, is looking for a driven Business Development Intern to support its Sales team. The internship places you at the forefront of a newly introduced intra-city service line, where you will help build visibility for the brand, connect with B2B customers, and create qualified leads that contribute directly to business growth.This is a responsibility-heavy opportunity for candidates who are enthusiastic about sales, logistics, and helping build a business from the ground up.What You Will Work OnCreate awareness for the new service line and help position the brand in the market.Engage with potential B2B customers to present Delhivery’s intra-city delivery offering.Represent the company in the field and build familiarity with local businesses, SMEs, and larger enterprises.Study the competitive landscape and explain the company’s differentiators clearly.Support lead generation through app downloads and product or pricing demonstrations for business prospects.Record and manage a pipeline of interested businesses using structured reporting methods.Follow up consistently with prospects to move them toward conversion.Identify and approach potential clients for both domestic and intra-city logistics services.Build long-term customer relationships that support repeat business and satisfaction.Coordinate with the local Sales team to achieve and exceed lead-generation goals.Work with operations and customer support teams to help ensure smooth service delivery.Prepare regular updates on outreach activity, lead status, and conversion performance.Eligibility and RequirementsCandidates should be currently pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities are needed, along with comfort in speaking to new people and pitching ideas.Applicants should be self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work with limited supervision.A genuine interest in learning about logistics, supply chain, and B2B sales is important.Working knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.Previous internship or project exposure in sales, marketing, or business development is helpful but not mandatory.Additional InformationThis internship is a full-time, in-office role available only to candidates from Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Jaipur. It is open to applicants who can begin between 19 May 2026 and 23 June 2026 and remain available for the full 3-month duration.
