Role Overview
This position is responsible for supervising lubricant blending activities end to end, with a strong focus on accuracy, output efficiency, and compliance with quality expectations. The role is based in the UAE and involves hands-on operational ownership of blending processes.
Job Location
Fujairah Free Zone, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. The role is onsite.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee lubricant blending production to ensure every batch is prepared accurately and in line with required quality standards.
- Create, improve, and standardize blending workflows so operations run efficiently and production costs are kept under control.
- Track raw material consumption, blend proportions, and equipment settings/calibration to maintain stable product quality and performance.
- Partner with quality assurance teams to test, confirm, and approve blended products against specifications.
- Make sure all blending activities follow safety rules and environmental requirements.
- Diagnose blending issues, apply corrective measures, and help reduce downtime while improving process reliability.
- Keep comprehensive production documentation, such as batch records and performance summaries, for review by management.
- Coordinate with supply chain and inventory functions to forecast raw material needs and maintain sufficient stock.
- Guide, coach, and train blending operators and other team members on technical and operational matters.
- Drive ongoing improvement efforts aimed at better blending performance, stronger product quality, and process innovation.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of lubricant formulations and blending operations.
- Practical experience using blending machinery, associated tools, and calibration techniques.
- Ability to analyze blending ratios and quality indicators with an investigative, detail-oriented approach.
- Working knowledge of safety and environmental standards relevant to chemical processing and blending.
- Strong troubleshooting ability for operational and production-related issues.
- Background in quality assurance practices within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of inventory planning and raw material coordination.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage people effectively.
- Clear communication skills for working across departments and for training purposes.
- Capability in maintaining records, analyzing data, and preparing reports with software tools.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar improvement frameworks will be an advantage.
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in blending operations, lubricant production, or a comparable role. Prior laboratory testing experience with chemical blends is preferred.
