Associate Project Manager

Role overview

Whova is seeking an organized, dependable Associate Project Manager to support the delivery of new products and features. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and QA specialists while learning how to guide projects from kickoff through completion and keep scope, schedules, and deliverables under control.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, monitoring, and coordinating software development initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align objectives, prioritize work, and meet delivery dates.
• Take ownership of task coordination, progress reporting, and project documentation.
• Identify blockers early and help move issues toward resolution.
• Keep workstreams advancing so tasks, deadlines, and dependencies do not get missed.
• Build an understanding of scope management, risk awareness, and resource planning with guidance from experienced mentors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Cognitive Science, HCI, Computer Science, or a related science/engineering field.
• 0–2 years of experience in project management or coordination; internships are accepted as relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of Agile concepts, project timelines, and collaboration tools.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Steady, composed presence even in busy or fast-moving situations.
• Genuine interest in technology, product development, and team execution.

Compensation and benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, eligibility for a 401(k) after 6 months, 18 paid days off per year plus holidays, remote work every Friday, a free in-office gym, and two catered lunches each week.
