Role OverviewVisteon is building a future-focused approach to how talent, cost, and productivity work together. As part of the Workforce Architecture function, this position plays a key role in helping leaders decide where to invest, where to optimize, and how to create capacity for the work that matters most.The ideal candidate enjoys working where data, strategy, and business results meet. This opportunity suits someone who is inquisitive, highly analytical, and motivated by solving complex enterprise problems and turning analysis into practical action.Key ResponsibilitiesLead AI-enabled workforce transformation by creating and maintaining a role risk register that assesses how automation and AI affect positions across the organization.Convert detailed workforce data into actionable recommendations for reskilling, redeployment, and long-term workforce change.Work closely with Talent teams to strengthen critical capabilities and prepare roles for future needs.Develop frameworks for workforce investment and disinvestment, helping determine where the organization should hire, spend, or reduce capacity.Assess new hiring requests against business priorities, existing internal talent, and opportunities for automation.Support leadership in making decisions that improve cost structure, productivity, and allocation of talent.Build workforce forecasts for the next 12 to 36 months by combining demand, skills, hiring, and attrition inputs.Provide regular analysis on skill shortages, talent surpluses, and priority hiring areas.Create scalable analytics models that improve the accuracy and flexibility of workforce planning.Improve organizational effectiveness by simplifying spans, layers, and role alignment.Drive reviews that increase productivity, unlock capacity, and improve operational efficiency.Present data-backed recommendations in a way that leaders can act on quickly.First-Year OutcomesComplete an AI impact assessment across all roles, supported by clear reskilling actions.Establish a workforce investment framework that highlights measurable optimization opportunities.Roll out a predictive workforce intelligence engine to support long-term planning.Implement organization design improvements that raise productivity and free up capacity.Success MeasuresClear visibility into AI-related risk across roles, with effective mitigation in place.Measurable return on investment and workforce optimization results.Forecasting accuracy improved to around +/- 5%.Meaningful redeployment of talent to meet emerging business needs.Candidate ProfileThis role is best suited for someone with deep experience in workforce planning or related operational areas, paired with strong analytical judgment and the ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear, data-led communication.Required ExperienceMore than 10 years of experience in workforce planning, resource management, or engineering operations.Strong background in strategy, finance, analytics, or consulting, with sharp problem-solving ability.Proven skill in influencing senior leaders using structured, evidence-based storytelling.Ability to assess trade-offs, scenarios, and financial consequences.Strong focus on business outcomes such as capacity, productivity, and cost efficiency rather than just activity volume.
