Web Developer (React)

Role Overview

This contract role is for a Frontend Developer with React experience, working remotely from Canada. The position focuses on building polished, responsive web experiences and supporting product delivery through strong frontend engineering.

Compensation and Commitment

The pay range for this assignment is $30 to $100 per hour. The expected workload is 10 to 40 hours each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and support responsive web applications with React.js and current JavaScript practices.
• Work in close partnership with design, backend, and product teams to ship well-built features.
• Convert design files and wireframes into usable, interactive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Maintain compatibility across browsers while improving application performance and scalability.
• Produce code that is tidy, reusable, and clearly documented, following industry best practices.
• Take part in code reviews, share helpful feedback, and support the growth of junior team members.

Required Profile

• Strong practical expertise in React.js and JavaScript for web application development.
• Proven ability to build responsive interfaces with a strong focus on user experience.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills and a cooperative working style.
• Good knowledge of troubleshooting, performance optimization, and browser compatibility methods.
• Experience connecting frontend applications with REST APIs and external services.
