Role overview
This position is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and supporting training and development activities. The person in the role will help keep training plans on track, manage updates to schedules, and support the smooth delivery of learning programs.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the Training & Development Supervisor to carry out training plans and schedules efficiently.
- Support the creation and maintenance of the training calendar.
- Prepare and share monthly or periodic reports and statistics that reflect the current status of training and development initiatives.
- Help draft contracts with external training providers.
- Make sure the required technology setup is available for training sessions and take part in purchasing devices used for training.
- Serve as a point of contact for training participants and assist with running internal training sessions by checking participant lists, sharing relevant materials, and managing program administration.
- Support the development and rollout of internal and external training and development policies, procedures, and programs in line with ASMO requirements and the approved budget.
- Handle evaluations, surveys, and assessment tools, then compile and summarize the results to identify improvement areas.
- Keep the training and development database updated and organized.
Knowledge and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited university is required.
- CIPD certification is preferred.
- Strong spoken and written English skills are required.
- At least 5 years of experience in the same field is needed.
- Prior learning and development experience is required.
