In this role, you will own the complete management of government and institutional tenders in Saudi Arabia, ensuring submissions are delivered on time, accurate, and fully aligned with requirements through procurement platforms such as NUPCO and Etimad. The position sits within customer support and pre-sales, with a strong focus on execution quality, governance, and coordination across teams. The Tender Manager helps safeguard revenue, compliance, and customer trust.
Work Schedule

Key Responsibilities
- Own the entire tender process from opportunity identification and document preparation through submission, clarification handling, and award follow-up.
- Compile and file tender packs using KSA government and semi-government procurement systems.
- Make sure all commercial, technical, legal, and regulatory conditions are fully met.
- Organize customer-required site visits, technical assessments, and layout submissions where needed.
- Serve as the main coordination link between Sales, Customer Support, Technical, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and approved external partners.
- Collect, validate, and secure internal inputs within agreed deadlines.
- Ensure third-party partners follow Thermo Fisher Scientific’s governance and oversight standards.
- Lead or support a team of tender specialists during tender preparation activities.
- Assist customer-facing teams and senior leaders with tender documentation, status updates, and risk reviews.
- Communicate in a professional, structured way with procurement authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare tender summaries, action plans, and recommendations for leadership review.
- Maintain accurate tender trackers, submission logs, and audit-ready records.
- Spot compliance, documentation, or timing risks early and escalate them promptly.
- Contribute to post-tender reviews and use lessons learned to improve future execution.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or a related field, which is preferred.
Relevant background includes managing government or institutional tenders, working with KSA tender portals and procurement workflows, and operating in matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders. Prior experience leading tender specialists or holding similar people-management responsibility is also valuable. Strong exposure to stakeholders at organizations such as NUPCO, Etimad, MOH, Maaden, and Aramco is expected.
