Role overview
This role sits within a cloud kitchen environment in Doha and is focused on keeping the dispatch process smooth, fast, and accurate. The supervisor works closely with kitchen teams, delivery riders, partner suppliers, service providers, and customer support to make sure orders leave on time and reach the right riders without disruption.
The position also involves monitoring kitchen performance, keeping technology and internet services working properly, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are followed, handling administrative duties, and maintaining a clean kitchen at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Lead dispatch support staff and coordinate with service providers to keep order flow efficient.
- Make sure opening, mid-shift, and closing checklists are completed each day.
- Confirm that technical systems and internet connectivity remain operational throughout the shift.
- Guide, train, and support the dispatch team as needed.
- Oversee order handoff from partner kitchens to delivery riders.
- Handle delivery or order-related problems by working with customers, riders, and customer service.
- Check that partners follow food safety rules and maintain proper hygiene standards.
- Carry out routine food safety inspections and audits according to kitchen procedures.
- Maintain clear and timely communication among customers, riders, and dispatch staff.
- Ensure all dispatch work follows company rules, applicable regulations, and safety requirements.
- Escalate shift-related issues to kitchen managers and resolve them on the spot whenever possible.
- Track and manage kitchen performance indicators including FIR, AVTC, Vendor Delay, and Vendor Net Fail.
- Verify that all visitors complete the required questionnaire and health declaration before entering the kitchen.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in dispatch operations or the food and beverage/hospitality sector is required, including at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
Applicants must be comfortable using basic computer applications and should be able to collect and analyze simple data. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is also essential. Previous experience in cloud kitchen operations as a kitchen supervisor or associate supervisor will be considered an advantage.
Working conditions
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar.
