Position Summary
The Storekeeper will handle the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, spare parts, and supplies used in facilities and engineering work. This role is focused on keeping inventory under control, maintaining accurate logs, and making sure required items are available on time for maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept incoming deliveries, check them for accuracy and condition, and document the items received.
- Keep storage spaces orderly and ensure all stock is clearly labeled.
- Distribute materials and spare parts when requested by maintenance staff.
- Track inventory levels and flag items that are running low.
- Update stock registers and inventory records, whether maintained manually or through a system.
- Carry out regular stock counts and match physical quantities against recorded balances.
- Follow safe storage methods and maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the store area.
Qualifications & Experience
- A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Between 2 and 4 years of experience in storekeeping or warehouse operations is preferred, ideally within facilities management, engineering, or hospitality settings.
- Working knowledge of basic computer tools and inventory software is needed.
- Previous UAE experience is an added advantage.
