Role summary
The Solutions Consultant is a combined business and operational software specialist who supports sales through consultative selling and tailored software demonstrations. This position works through complex business and technical discussions, then uses Zebra software to design solutions that solve customer challenges and communicate those solutions to a range of stakeholders.
The role mainly supports the Zebra Workcloud portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the product and operational demonstration specialist supporting sales activities across ANZ.
- Bring knowledge of operational software areas such as task management, scheduling, timekeeping, communications, inventory, and actionable intelligence, especially within retail environments.
- Use business-operations understanding to ask strong questions, interpret answers, build a solution strategy, and identify improvements in business efficiency and process.
- Run discovery and needs-analysis discussions that uncover customer pain points and the value opportunity behind them, using online research, financial context, and relationship networks where useful.
- Set up and present software demonstrations that are aligned to the prospect’s business requirements.
- Communicate the platform’s value proposition by connecting product benefits to the customer’s main goals and challenges.
- Draft written material for RFPs, RFIs, and prospect questions.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships by bringing business insight and compelling product demonstrations to the table.
