Senior Full Stack Developer (TypeScript, Node.js)

Role overview

This is a senior engineering position in a highly unusual delivery model: most of the feature code for this programme is produced by AI coding agents rather than written manually. In this setup, the Senior Full Stack Engineer acts as the last human quality checkpoint before code is merged and released.

Key responsibilities

• Examine, verify, and refine AI-produced code across the entire stack before approving it for merge, with attention to correctness, security, efficiency, and sound structure.
• Check the implementation against the technical design and ensure the agent output matches the agreed specification before sign-off.
• Identify whether any mismatch comes from agent execution or from a missing/unclear requirement in the specification, and communicate the outcome clearly.
• Provide precise remediation guidance when the code needs changes, and make direct fixes where that is the faster and more appropriate route.
• Own features end to end, covering the Angular front end, Node.js Lambda API layer, DynamoDB/PostgreSQL data stores, and AWS infrastructure.
• Spot and resolve security weaknesses, performance issues, and structural defects in code generated by agents before it reaches merge.
• Keep API documentation/specifications up to date and contribute to architecture decision records for shared technical choices.
• Work agent-generated deliverables into CI/CD workflows and confirm they are ready for deployment.

Technical scope

The role spans Angular user interfaces, TypeScript and Node.js services, AWS Lambda-based APIs, DynamoDB and PostgreSQL persistence, and deployment pipelines within an AWS environment.
