Role overview

The Retail Associate helps drive store performance by contributing to sales and profit goals, creating strong consumer loyalty, and delivering a high standard of store execution. The role focuses on customer engagement, operational discipline, and representing the brand positively on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor store sales, KPI goals, and personal targets, and take ownership of achieving them using the resources available in store.
• Deliver customer service that meets or exceeds the brand’s standards and shopper expectations.
• Represent the brand consistently through the right attitude, values, and customer-facing behavior.
• Use seasonal product knowledge and brand information effectively while assisting customers.
• Explain product benefits, features, and key selling points clearly so customers can make informed choices.
• Follow company policies and operating procedures at all times.
• Maintain visual merchandising and in-store communication standards as directed.
• Receive deliveries efficiently and replenish merchandise so the sales floor stays well stocked.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately and without delay.
• Help reduce loss in both the stockroom and the sales area.
• Carry out store activities in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
• Work cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues and supervisors.
• Complete required training and apply the learning in day-to-day work.
• Actively look for coaching and development opportunities to improve performance.

Requirements

• A high school education is mandatory.
• Ideally, candidates should have around 6 months of experience in a sports or fashion retail environment with a customer and commercial focus.
• Basic skills in numeracy, reading and writing, and spoken communication are required.
• Retail professional competencies are expected.

Additional information

The role is based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India and follows an on-site full-time working arrangement.
