In this position, you will follow standard operating procedures to verify information shared by candidates and record the results in client-facing reports. The work must be completed professionally, on time, and in line with supervisor guidance on quality and productivity expectations. The role includes both entry-level and experienced researchers, and may involve verification work in English as well as other languages when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle assigned duties in a professional manner with the goal of supporting successful candidate hiring outcomes.Research and confirm candidate-provided information efficiently so screening cases are completed within required timelines.Reach out to candidates with courtesy and diplomacy to collect missing details or resolve unclear information.Stay in regular contact with candidates and guide them through the screening process whenever support is needed.Work with internal teams to keep clients updated on issues arising during screening.Understand service level agreements clearly and carry out work according to client-specific requirements.Adapt to process changes when service agreements are updated.Keep screening records complete, accurate, and current.Prepare client reports that are factually correct, well represented, and aligned with accepted standards.Maintain output that meets departmental quality and productivity goals.Conduct phone conversations professionally and in a way that reflects the company’s candidate-first approach.Support teammates and contribute to collaborative work so customer expectations are met.Follow up promptly on requests, reports, and escalations until they are resolved.Continuously look for ways to improve processes and help implement practical changes.Be willing to learn additional functions beyond the immediate scope of the job.Support mentoring, training, and coaching of newer team members when required.Verify education and employment details in the screening package using available tools such as telephone, email, and internet resources to ensure a high-quality customer and candidate experience.QualificationsCandidates should hold an undergraduate degree, bachelor’s degree, or graduate degree in any discipline. A background of around 1 to 3 years in public records work is preferred, with BGV experience considered an advantage. The role calls for fluent written and spoken English, strong computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email, and the ability to review information quickly and systematically. Confidence in telephone communication, including persistent follow-up while maintaining positive client and candidate relationships, is also important.
