Quality Assessor

About the Role

As a Quality Assessor at Silver Fern Farms’ Pareora site, you will be responsible for helping maintain and strengthen the quality systems that support site operations. Your focus will be on making sure inspections, work processes, and records consistently align with customer expectations, legal requirements, and company standards.

This position has a direct impact on product quality and on protecting the reputation and integrity of Silver Fern Farms. You will also support compliance activities and contribute to ongoing improvement within processing teams.

Work Schedule

The role follows a Monday to Friday day shift pattern, from 6:30am to 4:00pm, with flexibility needed. Although the position is permanent and secure, it includes an annual seasonal shutdown of approximately 6 to 8 weeks.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should bring relevant quality-related experience along with a practical, collaborative mindset. You will need to communicate well, stay organised, and help balance quality priorities with production needs in a diplomatic way.
