Role overview
This is a high-impact product leadership role centered on improving the public and internal interfaces of a widely used developer platform. The position is based in Saudi Arabia and is being handled for a partner company that manages all application review and hiring steps.
You will be responsible for the experience across important touchpoints such as SDKs, APIs, CLI tools, documentation, and dashboards. The goal is to make these surfaces consistent, easy to use, and dependable. A major part of the role is to rethink these interfaces for both individual developers and AI-powered coding agents. You will work closely with product, engineering, and design to convert complex technical systems into smooth developer experiences. The team environment is fast-paced, deeply technical, collaborative, and strongly oriented toward autonomy and written communication. Your work will shape adoption, usability, and the future of agent-ready infrastructure.
Accountabilities
- Set and lead the product direction for developer-facing surfaces including SDKs, APIs, CLI tools, documentation systems, and dashboards, with a focus on consistency and ease of use across the full experience.
- Speak with a broad spectrum of users, from independent builders to enterprise engineering teams and AI-first platforms, to uncover pain points and determine which improvements will create the most value.
- Convert user needs and technical limitations into clear product specifications, partnering with engineering and design to ship strong solutions.
- Help define what it means for a product to be agent-friendly by influencing how AI systems work with APIs, documentation, and tooling behavior.
- Set measurable outcomes for each release and monitor adoption, activation, understanding, and automated usage across both human and AI-led workflows.
- Keep distributed teams aligned so that all interface-related initiatives contribute to a single, coherent developer experience.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of product management experience in developer tools, platforms, or infrastructure products, or comparable founder-level ownership in a technical product environment.
- Demonstrated ownership of shipping user-facing surfaces such as SDKs, APIs, CLIs, dashboards, or developer platforms used by other developers.
- Strong technical understanding, including the ability to follow architecture discussions, assess API design, and work effectively with engineers.
- Awareness of how modern AI coding agents interact with developer tools, plus a clear perspective on designing for agent-led workflows.
- A preference for shipping quickly, testing ideas, and learning iteratively instead of relying on overly detailed upfront planning.
- Practical, hands-on product style, including using tools directly, writing code when necessary, and developing opinions through firsthand experience.
- Excellent asynchronous communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fully remote, written-first setting.
Perks and benefits
- Remote-first role with flexibility to hire globally.
- Support for co-working spaces or a WeWork membership allowance.
- Equity participation through an ESOP structure.
- Allowance for technology setup and work environment equipment.
- Health coverage that pays 100% for the employee and 80% for dependents.
- Yearly company off-site held in an international location.
- Flexible asynchronous work style with a high level of independence.
- Annual learning and development budget for courses, conferences, and training.
Additional information
This opportunity is posted on behalf of a partner company. Applications and the next stages of the hiring process are managed by that employer.
The hiring process uses an AI-assisted matching system to evaluate applications quickly and consistently against the core role requirements. The system identifies the strongest matches, and that shortlist is passed to the hiring company. Final interview decisions, assessments, and next steps are handled internally by the employer.
By submitting an application, candidates consent to processing of personal data for candidate evaluation and sharing relevant details with the hiring employer under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. Applicants may request access, correction, deletion, or objection to processing at any time.
Artificial intelligence tools may be used to support parts of the hiring workflow, including resume review, application analysis, response evaluation, and detection of potential inconsistencies or verification signals in submitted materials. These tools assist the recruitment team but do not replace human judgment, and final hiring decisions are made by people.
