Role overview
Unacademy is seeking a results-focused Performance Marketing Specialist to drive user acquisition through data-led campaign strategy and execution. This position centers on running end-to-end marketing funnels with strong attention to unit economics, return on investment, and conversion optimization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable translating business targets into scalable acquisition systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design, launch, and continually improve paid campaigns across multiple channels, with primary focus on Meta and Google Ads, for both new product launches and always-on funnels.
- Own large advertising budgets while monitoring cost of acquisition, click-through rate, and overall return on investment to keep performance aligned with target unit economics.
- Partner with creative and web teams to lift landing page conversion rates and strengthen ad creative performance, including hook rate and CTR.
- Share daily and weekly performance updates, and provide clear analysis on the drivers behind metric movement rather than only reporting raw numbers.
- Plan and run structured A/B tests across creatives, audiences, and landing pages to identify the strongest combinations and scale them efficiently.
- Prepare monthly performance marketing reports.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, brand, and category teams to support growth and revenue goals.
- Work with the finance team to ensure regular settlement of claims.
- Manage and coordinate relationships with affiliate partners.
Required qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience managing performance marketing campaigns end to end.
- Advanced working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
- Practical experience with Google Tag Manager, GA4, and AppsFlyer for conversion tracking and event measurement.
- Exposure to Google Universal App Campaigns is an added advantage.
- Ability to analyze campaign data, understand funnel behavior, and turn insights into action.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced growth environment.
- Background in Performance Marketing, Growth Marketing, or App Marketing.
- Comfort managing campaigns across Google Ads formats such as UAC, Demand Gen, Performance Max, and Search, as well as Meta campaigns including Advantage+ App Campaigns and sales campaigns.

The role calls for 4 to 5 years of relevant experience.

This is an on-site role based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
