Role overview
The Payroll Analyst focused on offboarding and end-of-service work will support the HR function by managing employee exits with precision, calculating final entitlements, and helping ensure all actions align with applicable labor rules. The role uses SAP SuccessFactors and Excel as core tools, with additional exposure to Oracle HCM and related reporting tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out end-of-service benefit calculations for employees leaving the organization through SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle HCM.
- Review final payroll processing, including unused leave balances, bonus amounts, and mandatory deductions.
- Work with finance and legal teams to match termination payments and confirm regulatory compliance.
- Keep offboarding records current in the HRIS, including employee status updates and supporting documents.
- Prepare and share termination-related reports and analytical summaries for leadership.
- Handle employee questions about final settlements and end-of-service benefits.
- Investigate and fix mismatches in termination information using Excel Power Query and data validation methods.
- Help improve offboarding workflows by capturing and documenting effective practices.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of payroll experience, ideally involving offboarding or end-of-service processing.
- Practical experience with SAP SuccessFactors Payroll or Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Strong Excel capability, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and Power Query, along with basic SQL for extracting data.
- Working knowledge of UAE labor law and end-of-service benefit calculations.
- High level of accuracy and the ability to review large data sets carefully.
- Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing several termination cases at the same time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related area.
