Key responsibilities

• Direct the planning and execution of EPC assignments, covering timelines, budgets, and allocation of manpower and other resources.
• Track project advancement to keep delivery aligned with contract terms, target dates, and operational goals.
• Spot delivery risks early and put mitigation actions in place to protect smooth project execution.
• Work closely with internal functions to synchronize operations with procurement, logistics, and financial plans.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure strong collaboration and reliable project delivery.
• Set clear performance standards, review progress regularly, and support employee growth initiatives.
• Encourage ownership, operational excellence, and a strong safety-first culture across the workplace.
• Act as a primary liaison for clients and other stakeholders throughout the full project cycle.
• Run coordination meetings, project review sessions, and routine progress updates.
• Maintain transparent communication, resolve issues quickly, and protect client satisfaction.
• Ensure work is delivered in line with approved specifications, international quality requirements, and UAE regulatory standards.
• Oversee the application of Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures across all project stages.
• Carry out audits, site checks, and compliance assessments to sustain safety and operational standards.
• Lead project close-out evaluations and capture lessons learned to improve future delivery.
• Review performance indicators tied to cost, schedule, and quality.
• Help improve operating procedures, tools, and best practices.
• Support growth initiatives through client interaction and operational input for proposals and feasibility studies.
• Contribute to standardized operational systems and project management frameworks.
• Drive initiatives that improve execution efficiency and overall operational performance.
• Assist in preparing and managing operating budgets and cost-control activities.
• Monitor financial results and identify opportunities to improve cost and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related discipline is required.
• A master’s degree is preferred.
• More than 15 years of experience in operations or project management within an EPC setting is expected.
• Project management credentials such as PMP, PMI-RMP, or an equivalent certification are preferred.
• Exposure to HSE and ISO quality certification practices is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership in delivering large-scale construction and infrastructure projects in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Water, Power, and Telecom is required.
• Background in business development, proposal review, and client engagement in both technical and commercial environments is needed.
