The property offers an alcohol-free environment with options such as surfing, diving, golf, bowling, cinema, lagoon water sports, and a wellness centre in a resort setting.

Role Overview

The Multi Technician is responsible for keeping hotel facilities, equipment and engineering systems in proper working order, while supporting safe operations and responding to guest and maintenance needs in a timely manner.

Key Duties

• Carry out preventative maintenance checks on the property’s equipment and facilities.
• Look over all areas of the property for safety concerns and take immediate corrective steps where needed.
• Support guests with clear, helpful information about the property’s facilities.
• Inspect, clean, service and repair the premises’ MEP systems.
• Maintain all lighting systems across the hotel.
• Service and upkeep HVAC units.
• Diagnose issues and fix equipment that is not functioning.
• Complete all hotel-related work orders assigned.
• Respond to repair calls; if a problem cannot be resolved, inform the duty engineer promptly.
• Monitor utility meter readings and report any unusual deviation.
• Perform daily rounds of plant rooms and the workshop, and report any abnormal condition.
• Complete daily engineering operational checklists to confirm equipment is in good condition.
• Provide a proper shift handover, including pending matters and major updates if any.
• Address complaints within the required time to avoid escalation and finish the task, or escalate to the duty engineer with a clear note if it remains pending.
• Follow up on outstanding complaints during the shift and coordinate completion with the Engineering Shift Leader.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance for all equipment as directed on a monthly basis and update the PPM job sheet for Chief Engineer validation.
• Operate the BMS system as required and inform the Engineering Shift Leader of any shift-related overrides such as valves or fans.
• Keep the workshop, work areas and plant rooms clean before, during and after work.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be dependable, accountable and comfortable working as part of a team with limited supervision. The role suits someone who can stay focused, take initiative and make decisions in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
• Prior exposure to painting, plumbing, electrical wiring or similar technical work is beneficial.
• Experience with pool and spa systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work well with colleagues as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
• Energetic, dependable and attentive when listening.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to make decisions in a changing, fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable with constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Good spoken and written English; knowledge of a second language is an added advantage.
• Customer service orientation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Information

This position requires continuous physical movement, including standing and walking for most of the shift.
