Junior QA

The company blends engineering capability, sector knowledge, and a people-focused approach to deliver work that creates real business impact.This Junior QA role is based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area and focuses on validating software quality, supporting release readiness, and working closely with QA environments and automation activities.Key responsibilitiesConfirm that the software behaves according to customer expectations and agreed requirements.Apply Finastra implementation procedures and methodology with a strong working understanding.Design and run tests, including automation pack creation and ongoing maintenance.Handle defects raised internally and externally, including triage, retesting, and verification.Keep test cases, regression suites, and automation packs updated when changes are needed.Support the release of certified software to customers.Prepare and maintain release notes.Carry out installation testing.Manage and support QA environments.Create environments using DevOps tools.Perform rebase and build-related activities.Qualifications and experience2 to 5 years of relevant experience.Practical experience in validating software against customer requirements.Strong familiarity with Finastra implementation processes and delivery approach.Experience in test design, test execution, and automation pack handling.Ability to manage defects through triage, retesting, and verification.Comfort updating regression coverage, test cases, and automation assets.Experience supporting software release activities and customer delivery.Knowledge of installation testing.Hands-on exposure to QA environment management.Experience using DevOps tooling for environment creation.Ability to work on rebase and build tasks.Additional informationEndava aims to maintain an open, inclusive, and respectful workplace where people feel safe, valued, and able to do their best work.
