Job summary
The Housekeeper supports the hotel by keeping public spaces clean and presentable, delivering guest amenities and requested items, and assisting with guest room cleaning, laundry tasks, and other housekeeping-related assignments.
Key responsibilities
- Handle guest and employee interactions in a courteous, service-focused way.
- Follow the hotel’s company, brand, and property standards to help maintain a safe and efficient operation.
- Clean and refresh guest rooms to the required standard, including vacuuming carpets, replacing linens, polishing mirrors, and cleaning sinks, toilets, tubs, shower walls, shower curtains, and floors.
- Complete cart setup and supply organization by replenishing guest amenities, cleaning materials, and linen stock.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is preferred, typically 1 to 2 years.
- Must be able to remain on feet and walk for up to 8 hours per day and lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Should be able to follow spoken instructions and finish assigned work on time.
