About the opportunity

An exciting opening is available for an experienced Head Baker or Pastry Chef to join a busy artisanal bakery team. The role suits someone with strong technical baking skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

What you will do

• Oversee the bakery’s day-to-day operations consistently and effectively.
• Ensure all baked goods are produced and presented to a high standard at all times.
• Support people management activities such as hiring, onboarding, training, development, and performance reviews.
• Work with the executive chef and production manager to create, roll out, and maintain processes, procedures, and workflows.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar leadership baking role. You should be skilled in hand shaping and traditional methods, familiar with French and Italian breads, and comfortable working weekends. A genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable dining experiences is also important.
